BLACK MOTH Attracted By The Lights Of London’s Desertfest

Black Moth

Desertfest is proud to welcome Leeds’ very own, and very unique, Black Moth to the line-up. Currently wrapping up a tour as support for Turbowolf, the 5-piece are fast capturing the attention of the British underground scene. And rightly so. The band’s debut full length, The Killing Jar, is a twisted, reverberating, occult haze of an album that pierces deep into your skull, rattles around for a while and makes itself heard. Truly capturing a sound of their own with crushing guitars that often verge on sludge, the haunting, melodic vocals of Harriet Bevan and even occasional organs that ring in your ears, fully expect to be drawn in to the mayhem.

Black Moth are sure to leave an impression on all those who catch their blistering set at Desertfest.

Desertfest 2013 takes place between 26th – 28th April 2013 over 4 venues in Camden, London and tickets go on sale on the 13th November at Leedstickets.com.
