VODUN: New Track ‘Possession’ To Feature On New Heavy Sounds Record Store Day Comp; Stream Now Available

‘Possession’ is the 1st track taken from the debut VODUN album & due to be released (along with several other new tracks from amazing artists such as Black Moth, Limb & Throne) on the New Heavy Sounds Record Store Day compilation vinyl, out on April 19th!

To coincide with the release, VODUN will be playing a show on the 19th April with Throne at the Black Heart, Camden, the limited edition compilation vinyl will be available for purchase on the night and a Facebook event for the gig has been set up HERE.

VODUN’s debut album, which is also titled ‘Possession‘, was recorded in a matter of days with Wayne Adams at Bear Bites Horse studio. It’s currently being mastered by James Plotkin, then the band will be seeking the best outlet for a release onto special edition vinyl.

The record deserves it. 40 minutes of aural insanity that features percussion, chant samples, guitar solos, drum solos, freak outs, synths, surprises & an awesome amount of Chantal Browns soulful layered harmonies! All heavy as fuck with a healthy undertone of afro-vibe.
