The very first FOAD FEST takes place this weekend over the 1st–2nd March in central Manchester at the multi floor venue, Sound Control and features over 30 bands from across the whole metal spectrum.
The festival is the brainchild of 3 prolific promoters in Manchester, Submerge, CLDH & Misanthropy who have managed to scoop ORANGE GOBLIN to headline the Saturday and NECROPHAGIA the Sunday with a plethora of bands also taking to the stage over the 2 days & 2 stages, which includes Shaman faves Serpent Venom, Coltsblood, Gurt, Enos, Space Witch, Bast, Wort & Nomad to name a few.
Festival organiser, John Nicholson, also the man behind Submerge, commented on the weekend “We’re hoping the hard work of organising our biggest event yet will pay off this weekend. 32 bands including some of our all-time favourites along with some of the best underground bands around!”
Day & Weekend tickets are still available priced £25/£40 and are available from the venue’s website HERE, which also includes the full line up and stage times, but if you can’t get a ticket in time, don’t panic as, space allowing, you’ll be able to pay on the door on the day.
A Facebook Event has also been set up for the weekend which you can check out HERE.
