Through The Lens: Chat Pile / Petbrick / Dawn Ray’d @ The Dome, London, 14th August 2023

When Chat Pile announced their dates for a UK tour this August, everybody and their mothers went to grab a ticket, so to say that it was one of the most anticipated shows of the year would not be an understatement. Their first night at The Dome in North London had Northwestern RABM band Dawn Ray’d and ‘supergroup’ Petbrick, which is basically the noise-dance project of Wayne Adams (Big Lad, Wasted Death, Johnny Broke) and Iggor Cavalera (does he really need any introduction?)

No disappointment on any front as the three bands delivered top-notch performances on a completely different front, the first night was a complete success for Effigy Presents, a Bristol-based live music promoter who usually covers the Southwest. The second night had The St Pierre Snake Invasion and Sugar Horse as opening acts, but for now, check out my photos from the first night below…
