Mary Bell – S/T – CD 2007

After being really impressed with their ‘Derek Sessions’ recording i was well up for checking this out when I became aware it was out. And I’m glad to say i was not disappointed by this Dutch four pieces first release proper.

Five tracks of hateful, down and out sludge is what you will be dealing with here , bolstered by dope filled lungs of promised revenge. Heavy, thick, raw and savage are good ways to describe this band. A joy for dirt worshipers everywhere.

Good to hear ‘Armageddon Jam’ has made it onto this CD, with it’s great main riff and harrowing feel. My definite fave from the ‘Derek Sessions’.
