Agusa Brings Vintage Styled Prog-Rock Freakouts To Houses Of The Holistic At Roadburn 2015
Walter & co are excited to announce that Sweden’s Agusa will bring their psychedelic guitar textures and vintage styled prog-rock organ freakouts to Houses Of The Holistic, Ivar Bjørnson‘s and Einar “Kvitrafn” Selvik‘s curated Roadburn event on Friday, April 10 at the 013 venue in Tilburg, The Netherlands.
“I figured I’d tell everyone else what I told Jonas and Agusa when I wrote them the invite for our ‘Houses of the Holistic’”, says Ivar Bjørnson, “I got introduced to them in 2014 by a good friend who probably thought “This is Ivar’s cup of tea”. And indeed it was! I’ve listened to them a lot since and have become a real fan; I find a lot of my biggest favourites from different “schools” of progressive music (Yes! Kebnekaise!) – but first and foremost I have become a fan of how they have created their own sound from all these exciting influences. That they’re at a sky high level of musicianship doesn’t hurt either!”
