Through The Lens: Boris & Melvins @ Great American Music Hall, San Francisco, 28th Aug 2023

When two heavyweights collided and hit the road under the moniker of the Twins Of Evil Tour, when they hit my patch and played the Great American Music Hall in downtown San Franciso, it was a no-brainer to grab my camera and head down to catch the second of the two night showcase.

And what bands I am speaking of, well Japan’s drone evil trio that is Boris who ripped through 2002s Heavy Rocks album and the founding fathers of noise-rock and sludge Melvins of course, who honored us with their seminal release Bullhead and closed their set with the track Boris, well what else would it be!
