Humanfly Land On Desertfest 2013
Humanfly begun their journey way back in 2000, after the break up of John and Andy Sutcliffe’s old band, Canvas. Two became four when joined by Mat Dale on Bass and Dave Jones on Drums.
Hailing from Leeds, UK, the four-piece have developed their sound over the years from super fast and very brief into ‘Impossibly long’ tunes where the riff has a chance to progress organically. Truly gut-wrenching vocals, heavy layered riffs that penetrate your mind, amazing constant drums driving the music forth at a steady pace whilst the music grows and grows into a uncontrollable tidal wave of sound.
Signed to Brew Records, they are due to release their 4th studio album next month called ‘Awesome Science’. Fans of Isis take note: you will dig this, so catch them at Deserfest before they buzz off!
