Video Premiere: Nebula Drag ‘Crosses’ – New Album Drops In 2023 via Desert Records

Although the third, as yet untitled, album from San Diego’s stoner metal warriors Nebula Drag isn’t due to see in the light of day, partly down to the long delays pressing plants, until early 2023 through Desert Records, the power trio have the recording nailed down and they’ve been chomping at the bit to get new music out to the masses.

As a stop gap, the band called upon the services of Stephen Varns to capture them in their rehearsal space, surrounded by amps and ripping through the first single Crosses that’s taken from their new album. Now today, The Shaman is honoured to able to bring you the crushing result in the form of a near five-minute video of heavy stoner rawk and metal, which vocalists and guitarist Corey Quintana comments on in his own abstract way, ‘They’ve got nines upside down burned into their spines’.

While Desert Records head honcho Brad Frye states, ‘The new Nebula Drag song Crosses shows the band in absolute top form. This band has never been tighter, heavier, or more psychedelic. I’ve listened to the new album, and it will blow the doors off expectations. We are just waiting on the painstakingly long vinyl turnaround time… so here’s the first single and video for all you fans.’
