SPACE WITCH To Release Debut Album On Orchestrated Dystopia Records & Premier Video Teaser
Cosmic Doomers SPACE WITCH are to release their Self-Titled debut album via Stoke on Trent label Orchestrated Dystopia Records on 2nd August. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered earlier this year by Dan Lowdnes of Resonance Sound Studios and the death metal band Cruciamentum. It clocks in at just over 65 minutes and captures the bands instrumental psych sludge sound comprising of 2, 30+ minute songs.
The album will be initially available on DigiPak CD, Audio Cassette and Digital Download. A 2xLP Vinyl release is planned, but the band are currently seeking another label to work along side them and Orchestrated Dystopia Records, if any labels are interested, drop them a line!
The artwork was created by Alan O’Neill (Zonument) of the Leicester band Slow Worm and is a symbolic reference to the bands history. It incorporates key characters that have influenced the bands sound and shaped it into what it is today. The digital painting tells that story and for people that are close to the band will have a distinct meaning.
Pre-orders for this much anticipated debut are available now, for the DigiPak CD and Audio Cassette head to Orchestrated Dystopia‘s webstore HERE and Digital Downloads via the SPACE WITCH Bandcamp site HERE.
As a taster of the psyche dirge to come, SPACE WITCH have also unveiled a new video that features a 9 minute snippet from one of that tracks featured on the album and can be streamed below:
