WITCH MOUNTAIN / TOMBSTONES: UK Live Dates Kick Off Tonight
The heavyweight pairing of WITCH MOUNTAIN & TOMBSTONES have now hit the UK for 3 live dates before returning back to mainland Europe.
They play New Cons, Barrow tonight, before hitting The Star & Garter in Manchester tomorrow night, Friday 13th, for a rare Future Noise &The Sleeping Shaman hosted gig with support from RISE TO THUNDER before wrapping tings up at the Underworld in London on Saturday 14th.

To coincide with the Euro tour, Svart Records is also issuing a limited vinyl version of the band’s earlier album South Of Salem. This edition of the classic album is expanded to a double-LP with a second disc consisting of rare tracks, unreleased cover songs, and demos.
The tour also comes shortly before the release of WITCH MOUNTAIN‘s highly anticipated fourth album, Mobile Of Angels which was produced in May 2014 at Type Foundry studios in Portland, Oregon by master “Engine-Ear” Billy Anderson and will feature the artwork of Mark McCormick. With Mobile Of Angels, WITCH MOUNTAIN stretches out into new musical frontiers, while still remaining firmly in the tradition of classic heavy doomed rock ‘n’ roll. The album will be released in September 2014 in Europe by Svart Records, and in North America by Profound Lore.
Meanwhile TOMBSTONES’ highly acclaimed album Red Skies And Dead Eyes was released in October by Soulseller Records, and has featured in many end-of -year lists and has received rave reviews from web- and fanzines throughout the world, including the likes of Terrorizer, Visions Magazine and Metal Hammer. In 2013 the band blew minds with three bludgeoning sets at Desertfest in London, found themselves supporting bands such as Clutch and Ufomammut, and are now ready to once again bring their crushing live act across Europe. TOMBSTONES can be described as the bastard child conceived by a filthy threesome with Sleep, Melvins and Bongripper.
