Video Premiere: 72% ‘It’s Only A Problem If It’s A Problem For Me’

As I’ve said in the past, we’re big supporters of Human Worth here at Shaman HQ, not only for their attention to detail with each release, but also for donating a percentage of profits to worthy causes. The next offering from this small, but extremely passionate label is a vinyl issue for noise-rock deviants 72% and the album How Is This Going To Make It Any Better? Originally issued on cassette in 2019 by Hominid Sounds, for this release Human Worth in collaboration with Squirrelled Away Records will be making a donation to CALM – Campaign Against Living Miserably.

And today, prior to the official pre-sale start date of this Friday, 5th November, we’re elated to be able to bring you a video for the track It’s Only A Problem If It’s A Problem For Me. Readers of a certain vintage will easily be able to relate to the 8-bit video game craziness, and 72% drummer and vocalist Joel Harries has this to say about the insanity we’re about to witness…

It’s Only A Problem If It’s A Problem For Me was the first song we wrote for the album How Is This Going To Make It Any Better?. After a long period of being unable to write new music something suddenly clicked, and the song fell out almost fully formed in one improvised session. After some refining it set the tone for the rest of the music we would write for the album. At gigs it seems to get the audience moving so we thought we would give it the extra attention it deserves with this mad video from our very own Joe Brown.’
