Truckfighters Return For Round 2 At Desertfest 2013 London
Swedish Fuzz royalty return to Desertfest after last years epic appearance to a packed out Underworld. Neck breaking riffs, leaping guitarists and dripping wet crowds are all standard when Truckfighters roll into town. The rocking threesome recently hit UK shores for a rip roaring tour which ended in another rammed show at the Underworld. Vocals, heavy bass lines and whipping the crowd into a mouth foaming frenzy is supplied by Ozo, guitar licks, insane eyes and wild leaping comes from Dango and they are now joined on drums by former Mustach drummer Danne McKenzie.
Formed way back in 2001, the band have released 3 studio albums Gravity X, Phi and Mania. It has been 4 years since Mania and they are due to release a new album this year. In that time the band have toured extensively, twice to the States, South America, UK and Europe not forgetting the eagerly awaited Fuzzomentry which featured words from the mighty Josh Homme. So if you feel the need to jump around like a lunatic to some mighty licks then climb aboard the ten ton Fuzz machine that is Truckfighters.
