Heavy Psyche Newcomers Landskap To Haunt DesertFest London 2015

Landskap

Upon my first visit to Landskap’s Facebook page it was apparent they have 666 ‘likes’ and are a heavy rock band from London. Good start.

Their recently released self-titled four track, thirty minute opus is a compelling soundtrack of soaring psyched out solos and doom drenched vocals recanting tales of sorrow and repent. One of the bands shorter songs at six and a half minutes Fallen So Far transports the listener to another dimension, seduced by riffs reminiscent of an opiate infused collaboration between The Sword and Ghost.

Landskap, meaning ‘Landscape’ in West Flemish, paint a bleak picture of the human condition which will be a right at home hanging above the DesertFest’s mantelpiece.

DesertFest London 2015 takes place over the weekend of the 24th-26th April 2015 across 3 venues in Camden, London, weekend tickets are available now from Leeds Tickets.
