GOLDEN VOID Covers ‘1983 (A Merman I Shall Turn To Be)’ By Jimi Hendrix

Golden Void

Psych rockers GOLDEN VOID covers “1983 (A Merman I Shall Turn To Be)” in honor of Jimi Hendrix‘s 70th birthday.

As GOLDEN VOID singer Isaiah Mitchell explains to Rolling Stone: “I heard the song for the first time when I was in my teens and I remember I staring off into a lit fireplace listening to the song melt into ‘The Moon Turns the Tides Gently Away’. Changed my life forever.”
