GOAT To Play London Koko On 2nd December; Live Ballroom Ritual Out Next Week

Goat

On 2nd December, GOAT will be returning to London after their sold out performance at the Electric Ballroom earlier this year, to play Koko (tickets available here). The Swedish band finished a successful summer of festivals (including Primavera, Glastonbury, Roskilde, OYA, Way out West, Lowlands, Flow etc) and are currently preparing to lock themselves away in their studio in Korpilombolo to record a brand new album out next year on Rocket Recordings. We can expect an exclusive airing of some of their new offerings at the Koko show! GOAT will also be playing at ATP’s End Of An Era Part 2 Festival curated by Loop & ATP at Camber Sands.

Also out next Monday is their new live album, Live Ballroom Ritual. On July 27th 2013, the eve of their now legendary Glastonbury performances the band took the stage at Camden’s Electric Ballroom in London; the 1,100+ crowd either danced furiously to the band’s psyched grooves or stood there, mouths open and gazed in awe at the spectacle they couldn’t believe they were witnessing. It truly was a band on top of their game, which this LP will forever prove.

GOAT will be doing an exclusive guestmix for BBC6Music’s Tom Ravenscroft this Friday from 7pm, more info HERE. –

You can listen to the whole album Live Ballroom Ritual on NME.COM HERE.
