Bong Smoking At Desertfest 2013
Desertfest are pleased to announce North Easterners BONG to play on the Seven Churches Stage at Desertfest 2013!
With a plethora of releases under their belts, BONG play slow moving eastern tinged drone, with heavy Hawkwind influences.
Recent album Mana-Yood-Sushay based on Lord Dunsany’s “Gods Of Pagana” pushed the boundaries further. Their hypnotic live experience is like no other, transferring you back to the great age of 60′s/70′s improvisation with added Shahi Baaja an electrified Indian Zither/ drone harp with typewriter keys! A fitting end to an eclectic day at The Black Heart.
