SAINT VITUS Announce Autumn Tour In Europe!
SAINT VITUS will embark on an extensive European tour in celebration of their 35th band anniversary this autumn. To honour this occasion, the godfathers of American Doom Metal will perform all songs from the fan-favourite Born Too Late, which was originally released in the year 1986 as part of their show peppered with a host of classic hits. SAINT VITUS will be joined by British doomsters ORANGE GOBLIN and kick off their roadtrip in the beautiful Alsacian city of Colmar (FR) at the Le Grillen on the 9th of October and continue to rock Europe which also takes in Damnation Festival in Leeds (UK), Dutch Doom Days in Rotterdam (NL) until a final stop at the Hammer Of Doom Festival in Würzburg (DE) on November 15th. SAINT VITUS will be touring in support of their latest masterpiece Lillie: F-65 (review here), which is still available and can be ordered on CD (including a free split 7″) and vinyl from the Season Of Mist e-shop HERE.
Season of Mist have also re-released the two SAINT VITUS milestones, C.O.D. (review here) and Die Healing (review here), which gave the many new and young fans the band had assembled on their recent highly acclaimed world tours a fresh opportunity to discover these two often overlooked classics. 1992’s C.O.D. has been re-mastered and the new version includes two previously unreleased bonus tracks from the original recording sessions. Both albums were also reissued in deluxe vinyl editions and are available Season Of Mist e-shop HERE.
