Robert Hampson To Make Solo-Appearance At Houses Of The Holistic At Roadburn 2015
Loop main-man, Robert Hampson, will make a solo-appearance at Houses Of The Holistic, Ivar Bjørnson‘s and Einar “Kvitrafn” Selvik‘s curated Roadburn event on Friday, April 10 at the 013 venue in Tilburg, The Netherlands.
“One of this winter’s great discoveries has been Robert Hampson’s solo material”, says, Ivar Bjørnson, “I’m into Ambient big time, both the drony, more rhythmic, the psychedelic – and then there’s Noise, which is also one of the great things in life! I find Robert Hampson’s cross-sectioning of Drone, Ambient and Noise to be very beautiful and haunting. When it also happens to be a man who was part of writing “Pure” (Godflesh), it is nothing short of a great honour to have him partake in our ‘Houses of the Holistic’.”
