PISSED JEANS: Sub Pop To Reissue ‘Shallow’; UK & US Tours Incoming
PISSED JEANS were noisy as a motherfucker and proud of it on Shallow. The album sounds like a big pile of mud and broken glass ripping through your stereo speakers in the most killer way imaginable.
Shallow was originally released by PISSED JEANS in June of 2005, and preceded by the Throbbing Organ b/w Night Moves single in August of 2004. All tracks were originally recorded by Dan McKinney at Dan’s House in Center Valley, PA and available via New Jersey hardcore label Parts Unknown. The recordings feature longtime members Matt Korvette and Bradley Fry, along with then drummer Dave Rosenstraus and bassist Tim Wynarczuk.
And now, the long out of print Shallow is getting reissued by Sub Pop. Fans who pre-order the LP version of Shallow via the Sub Pop Mega Mart will receive the limited Loser Edition of the album on coloured vinyl (while supplies last), the Throbbing Organ 7” and an immediate download of the entire album. The remastered album is available for purchase digitally now from Sub Pop Mega Mart, iTunes and Amazon.

PISSED JEANS will visit the UK beginning 13th August in Brighton, at the Haunt and ending on 16th August at ATP’s Jabberwocky Festival at ExCel London. The band have also scheduled a short US tour that kicks-off 1st November in Seattle, at Barboza and ends 9th November in Austin at Fun Fun Fun Fest. Additionally, PISSED JEANS has scheduled an appearance on 30th August in Philadelphia at the Made in America Festival. Please find a complete list of tour dates below:
