OvO: Genre-Collapsing Noiseniks Announce UK Dates With GNAW; New 12″ To Be Released On CORPOC

OvO

In November of last year, genre smashing avant experimentalists, OvO released their mammoth new full-length, Abisso (review here), issued via Supernatural Cat which was met with great acclaim, many hailing it the duo’s best yet. Following a successful mainland Europe tour, OvO shall be touring a handful of dates in the UK with close collaborators, New York’s GNAW, fronted by ex-Khanate vocalist Alan Dubin, who featured on Abisso (listen below). Expect splintered, shattered panes of abrasive sound, collisions and cacophonies, suffocating dark and blinding light – expect the unexpected. The dates are as follows –

GNAW + OvO
May 1st London, The Victoria (with Shitwife)
May 2nd Liverpool, Mellomello
May 3rd Glasgow, The 13th Note
May 4th Newcastle, Leave Me Here Fest w/ Necro Deathmord, Ommadon & more

OvO ONLY
May 5th Birmingham, Wagon And Horse

OvO will also be releasing a two track 12″ EP in the near future, with two more tracks from the same recording sessions which spawned Abisso. Side A’s ‘Averno‘ is an electronic mantra, whilst on the flip side, ‘Oblio‘ is a long, black march. Limited to 500 silkscreened copies and available from CORPOC, you will also be to get your hands on a copy at one of the live dates listed above.
