MARK DEUTROM: The Ruckus Juice Is Loose

Mark Deutrom

Following directly in line behind the proud parole of his third solo full-length, Brief Sensuality and Western Violence, ex-Melvins/Clown Alley guitarist MARK DEUTROM is already preparing for another release to hit.

In 2012, DEUTROM’s released the captivating and deranged animated video for his “Ruckus Juice” single (stream available below), the high-action insanity animated by his wife Jennifer Deutrom, after which it was screened at several film festivals including the San Francisco International Film Festival and more. Rock is Hell Records is now preparing to publish a whole new chapter of mad “Ruckus Juice” tale, with a vinyl soundtrack to the single. The 45rpm 12” EP will also feature two additional songs, “Bo Diddley” and “Eat The Light,” and will be available in a limited-edition of 200 copies pressed on red or white wax, with an etching on the B-side and hand screened cover. This will be the only format for the soundtrack — no digital release is penned.

Preorders are available now via Rock is Hell Records HERE

The nearly hour-long Brief Sensuality and Western Violence voyages through both ominous and peaceful territories though a variety of vocal approaches and instrumentation, bleeding together into nearly an hour of guitarist, composer, songwriter, singer and producer MARK DEUTROM’s most organic and unreserved material to date.
