Iron Void To Support Goatess On November 2014 UK Tour; Self Titled Debut Album Now Available
12th September 2014
UK traditional doomers Iron Void will be heading out on the road this November as main support when heavy stoner doomers Goatess, who feature the presence of Swedish cult doom metal legend Chritus Linderson (Lord Vicar, Saint Vitus, Terra Firma, Count Raven) on vocals and released their phenomenal debut album last year via Svart Records, make their welcome return to this bleak isle.
Iron Void will be supporting their Self-Titled debut album, recorded at Full Stack Studios with Matt Richardson at the helm, the album features 10 tracks of heavy, traditional doom that harks back to the halcyon days of Hellhound Records and is out now via Barbarian Wrath Records.
Goatess/Iron Void UK Tour:
13/11 – The Snooty Fox, Wakefield
14/11 – Scruffy Murphy’s, Birmingham
15/11 – The Unicorn, Camden
16/11 – Kraak, Manchester

Iron Void was originally formed by Jonathan ‘Sealey’ Seale & Andy Whittaker (Solstice, The Lamp of Thoth) in 1998 in order to create an old-school Doom Metal band, worshipping at the altar of Doom legends such as Black Sabbath, Saint Vitus, Pentagram, etc.
Vocalist & Bass player Sealey decided to resurrected the band in 2008 with Steve Wilson on Guitars & Vocals & Damien Park on Drums.
To date, Iron Void have released a live demo, Live 2008 (2008) and an EP, Spell Of Ruin (Doomanoid Records, 2010). This was re-released in 2012 and features an expanded CD edition with 2 bonus tracks along with additional photos. Their Self-Titled debut album was recorded in 2013 with engineer / producer Matt Richardson and was released in June 2014 via Barbarian Wrath Records.
Live highlights for Iron Void have included a triumphant performance at Malta Doom Metal Festival 2012, tours with Nomad Son, The Prophecy & Mortalicum and numerous shows with the likes of Pagan Altar, Lord Vicar, Witchsorrow, Solstice, The Lamp of Thoth, Leather Nun America, Iron Hearse, Misty Morning, Dark Forest, Asomvel and many more.
