ENABLER: Shift Of Redemption EP Out This Week; First Australian Tour Locked

Enabler

Milwaukee’s most volatile act, ENABLER, has locked down several new bouts of Spring tour dates in support of their brand new Shift Of Redemption EP, out this week via Think Fast! Records.

The brutalizing four-song EP picks up where last year’s brutalizing All Hail The Void LP on Southern Lord left off, flowing the hateful, impulsive and extremely infectious hook-and-breakdown-fueled frenzy ENABLER is so good at delivering. Stated founding frontman Jeff Lohrber on the construction and now the release of the new EP: “In the midst of the time where so much focus and energy was spent on the performance and production of AHTV, there were so many ideas floating around that I felt inspired to just keep writing, to just push the sound of ENABLER further than we had before. I think that this EP sums up the general feel of AHTV, but also is a glimpse of what is to come. I feel that every song has its own identity, and out of our entire catalog, it includes probably our hardest song to play live (‘Shift of Redemption’) in addition to two of my absolute favorites to play live (‘Live Low’ and ‘Sacrifice’). See you on the road, I can’t fucking wait.”

Recorded by Shane Hotchstetler at Howl Street Recordings, mixed by Chris Common (Pelican, These Arms Are Snakes), and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (From Ashes Rise, Sleep, High on Fire), Think Fast! this week releases the EP via digital download and 7” — the first pressing limited to 1,000 copies, with 350 copies pressed on gold wax and 650 on clear — available here.
