Effenaar Announces Second Edition Of Eindhoven Psych Lab

Eindhoven Psych Lab 2015

The Effenaar, in association with the Liverpool International Festival Of Psychedelia, have announced the second edition of Eindhoven Psych Lab and T’Shaman couldn’t be more excited to hear the psychedelic festivities return to the Eindhoven stage. Last year we were there, which you can read about here.

So far, acts confirmed to play Eindhoven Psych Lab 2015 include Black Bombaim, The Cult Of Dom Keller, Doug Tuttle, Jaccor Gardner, Morgan Delt, PAUW, POW! and The Soft Moon, Teeth Of The Sea will also make an appearance due to their cancelled performance in 2014. And like last year, Eindhoven Psych Lab have asked a label to curate one of the stages and that honour goes to Chicago, Illinois’ Trouble In Mind Records who are known for acts like Jacco Gardner, Fuzz & Mikael Cronin.

Apart from great music, the festival will also offer DJ’s, visual happenings and kaleidoscopic experiments. Does that sound good to you? Check out the website for the latest information.

The Eindhoven Psych Lab takes place on the 5th-6th June 2015 at the Effenaar, tickets are on sale now, priced just €52, but if you’re also looking for some where to stay, there’s also a sweet hotel bundle available for €277, both are available now from Ticketmaster.nl.

Eindhoven, located in the South of The Netherlands, is an easily accessible city either by road, bus, train and even air with it having its own airport only a few clicks away from the centre, and if flying to Schiphol, Amsterdam, regular trains to Eindhoven run throughout the day and take around 90 minutes, but then hey, it’s The Netherlands, so everything is close by.

And while we’re taking about the Effenaar, if you can’t wait for Eindhoven Psych Lab and want an early fix of everything that’s heavy, dirty, fuzzy and psyched out, there’s also a bunch of cool shows coming up…

18th February 2015 – Monster Magnet
The Americans around Dave Wyndorff are on a roll since their album Last Patrol of which they released a ‘re-imagined’ version in November.

15th March 2015 – Corrosion Of Conformity
These guys have been around for more than 30 years and are still going strong. Currently they’re in the picture, thanks to the NOLA documentary by Noisey, due to their guitar player/vocalist Pepper Keenan, who has just returned to the band.

3rd May 2015 – Mudhoney
For the grunge sound and its bastard child stoner rock, Mudhoney was a major influence. The guys that used to be Green River started in 1984, but has shown no signs of slowing down.

Head over to the Effenaar website for more info on these and other gigs they’ll be hosting over the coming months.
