Purveyors of Olde English Doom, BLACK MAGICIAN, have announced their conquering return to the Emerald Isle in February of next year, following a storming set at the Dublin Doom Days III this September.

The band will descend upon Voodoo in Belfast on Friday February 15th, and Fibbers in Dublin on Saturday February 16th 2013 to lay further waste to Ireland, with supports to be announced.

The week previous to this, the band will be playing at Edinburgh Banshee Labyrinth on Saturday 9th February, with more UK February dates to soon be announced – along with the bands much-anticipated incursion into Europe in April.

Also in April, BLACK MAGICIAN will be making an appearance at the 2013 Desertfest, playing on the Seven Churches Stage at The Black Heart on Saturday 27th April.

The band are currently holed up in their sordid grief-hole writing and rehearsing material for the follow-up to their critically-acclaimed debut album ‘Nature Is The Devil’s Church‘, which was released earlier in the year by Shaman Recordings (LP) and Burning World (CD),  emerging briefly into the light on Friday December 21st to play Liverpool’s Pilgrim Pub in celebration of the Winter Solstice, with support from hard rock/heavy metal heroes Wytch Hazel and filthmongers Crypt Lurker.

In related news the band has parted company with keyboard player Matt Ford, with a replacement expected to be installed shortly.
